Parody Press! enlisted the aid of highly acclaimed artist-writer Bill Maus for this issue. As a change of pace from its normal format, three Image superheroes are served as cannon fodder. However, each story lacks that something that prevents it from tickling the funny bone to extent of previous spoof issues. The stories elicit small laughs instead of the Parody Press!-type belly laughs. Small quibbles aside, it doesn’t detract from skewing super (stupid?) heroes or extremely large guys that throw their considerable weight around. Needless to say, the ultra-violence continues unabated.
