Subtitled “Peter & Mary Jane’s Spider-Man Scrapbook,” this one-shot is nothing more than a summary of past events from Spider-Man’s various books in 1999. Arranged in chronological order, covers are displayed like a photo album with lengthy text providing a comprehensive retrospective of each storyline. A few panels are cut and pasted from their original sources, and there are newspaper headlines as well giving Year in Review the look and feel of a real magazine reminding people about the events that happened in a celebrity’s life.
