Spider-Boy Team-Up

    (Amalgam, 1997)
™ and ©1997 DC Comics and Marvel Characters, Inc.

Spider-Boy Team-Up is perhaps the most lighthearted, fun-filled title to come from the Amalgam line. Spider-Boy (an amalgam of Spider-Man and Superboy) bounces back and forth through time in an adventure that introduces him to the Amalgam version of the Legion of Super-Heroes, The Legion of Galactic Guardians 2099. This is a story that can enjoyed without an extensive knowledge of either of the source books. Rather than overlook inconsistencies and illogic surrounding time travel, Spider-Boy Team-Up uses them as the source of many wisecracks and reoccurring jokes. Even the line “Come with me if you want to live” from the movie, Terminator 2, is grist for this book’s sarcastic mill.
