Lazy, self-indulgent Hempsted Wallop has a problem: his Uncle Grenville is off on another adventure in this world where dinosaurs still roam—and race and serve and, in some cases, speak. Unfortunately, Uncle Grenville’s periodic quests—according Hempsted’s Aunt Celia—do not involve “the words ‘treasure,’ ‘tomb,’ or ‘riches beyond imagining’”; and the family coffers are empty. Therefore, it is up to Hempsted and his sexy cousin Flavia to find their uncle…if they want to continue to live in the manner to which they have become accustomed.
