Hemorrhage has the power to psionically control blood, his own or others’. It’s an ability he eagerly uses to kill. In their last encounter, Vampirella defeated Hemorrhage, and he was incarcerated at the Danse Macabre institute. But during that battle, Vampi drank some of Hemorrhage’s blood, unknowingly creating a link between them. He’s been using that link to invade her thoughts, and to control her actions, even to the point of using her to break out of the institute.
But while Vampirella struggles to keep Hemorrhage out of her mind, a deadly new threat looms. The Dark High Lord Nocturne has stolen a mysterious object from the Danse Macabre. Known only as the Red Death, this strange lifeform, if left unchecked, could conceivably destroy everything on the planet.
This limited series is considered an untold chapter in Vampirella’s ongoing saga. The events occur before those in Vampirella: Death & Destruction.
