The enduring popularity of the Justice League spawned another version of the team’s history. Each issue of this 7-issue series from John Ostrander and Val Semeiks highlights a different era of the Justice League of America. These heretofore untold tales span the time from the formation of the Silver Age Justice League, when they took over from their Golden Age counterparts, up to the present.

The events acknowledged as worthy of defining an era include the addition of Superman and Batman, the days when the league was based in Detroit and featured the likes of Gypsy and Vibe, and the lighthearted team by Keith Giffen and J. M. DeMattis.

This time the league has an unabashed cheerleader in the form of Tully Reed, a small cable TV station investigative reporter who functions as a Greek chorus, providing exposition and over-the-top enthusiasm.
