Seattle-based Starhead comics presents this anthology series of underground comics. Featured are such grotesquely funny pieces as R.K. Sloane’s “Curse of the Baby Monster” (about a mad scientific experiment which turns a baby doll into a…well…a Baby Monster) and J.R. Williams’ “Bad Teens.”

Starhead Presents is dedicated to putting out books with a sense of humor, a welcome commodity in the underground comics scene. The stories here are decidedly offbeat, and sometimes downright bizarre, but the reader is nevertheless left with a strange smile on their face by the time it’s all over.
