This adaptation of the popular television series chronicles the adventures of the later additions to the Star Trek family.

After fifty years, the citizens of Bajor have freed themselves from the cruel Cardassian occupation. Lacking sufficient resources to guarantee their hard-won freedom, they welcome the assistance of the Federation. But what was meant to be a token presence soon becomes one of the most pivotal of Starfleet assignments. The discovery of a stable wormhole in an unexplored area of the galaxy turns Bajor, a remote frontier planet, into an interstellar hub of activity. The new crew of the former Cardassian space station must maintain the fragile peace between Bajor and Cardassia, as well as the Dominion, a new threat from beyond the wormhole.
