Ogami is a Japanese samurai, sworn to uphold the law and protect the rulers of his land. Thought to be slain by his traitorous enemies, Ogami is saved by the evil Kenju, a treacherous ninja overlord who seeks to exploit Ogami’s amnesia after his near-death experience. Kenju becomes Ogami’s ally, and Ogami becomes Tsunami, so named for his unstoppable, overpowering fighting technique. As Kenju’s puppet, he spreads fear through all who are unlucky enough to oppose him.

Five hundred years later, in our present time, Ogami is still alive, thanks to the miraculous healing powers of Kenju and his apothecary. His world has changed and his enemies are different, but he is still Tsunami, the unstoppable wave, ready to give his life to defend his bushido, or code of honor.
