Gun Fury Returns

Nicknamed “the paragon of justice,” Gun Fury is basically a takeoff on Batman. In this four-issue mini-series, Gun Fury and his sidekick Ammo are offered to return from super-hero retirement by millionaire industrialist Donald Lump. Since Gun Fury and Ammo have been absent, costumed loonies have run amok, including the clown-killing Buttman, also called “The Caped Crucifier,” and his partner Throbbin. In the first issue, Gun Fury and Ammo dress as clowns to catch Buttman and Throbbin. Juvenile raunchy humor abounds, including jokes about homosexuality.
