Arc is a combination comic book/magazine devoted to underground comix and the electronic music industry. Comic book-sized, the first half of each issue contains record reviews and interviews with cutting-edge electronic music artists. The second half is made up of experimental comic stories that differ substantially in their presentation and subject matter. There are the more traditional penciled pages of sequential art, mixed with stories using deep blacks and borderless panels. The layout of the series is an art designer’s dream, with wildly inventive graphics behind the interviews and non-traditional art styles on the comix stories. A fun and unusual experience for both comic and music lovers.
