Jack Russell suffers under a curse—a curse passed down to him through the ages by his ancestors. Now, whenever the moon is full, Jack becomes a bloodthirsty werewolf.

Jack has fought throughout his life to rid himself of his lycanthropic burden. Now his condition has worsened. During the transformation to a creature of the night, Jack sees terrifying visions of Hell, which further increase his desperation.

Thus begins Jack Russell’s search for a final cure. He must let nothing stand in his way, even if the cure requires him to seek out and confront a dangerous cult and its evil leader. Ironically, the very curse Jack seeks to banish also gives him the power to face the most horrifying obstacles. He will need all the ferocity and strength of a werewolf to prevail.

This mini-series lasted a total of 6 issues before joining Man-Thing (3rd Series) in the pages of Strange Tales (3rd Series).
