Garrison’s Gorillas

This short-lived title from Dell is based on the short-lived ABC television series of the same name. “Garrison’s Gorillas” were a group of criminals recruited by the U.S. government to operate as a commando unit behind enemy lines during World War II. This motley crew was led by West Point straight-arrow Craig Garrison and consisted of Actor, a smooth-talking con artist; Casino, a savvy safecracker; Goniff, a skilled cat burglar; and Chief, a Native American who was handy with a switchblade. The comic book captured the spirit of the TV show and featured photo covers of the cast, but it only lasted five issues.
