Philip and Joy Strunk have been sent to investigate alleged misdeeds on the part of Dr. Nordling, chief researcher at an orbital lab studying the Aliens. Nordling’s specialty is creating custom viruses and has been chartered by Grant Corp. to develop one that could wipe out the deadly Aliens. On the side, however, Nordling has been illicitly selling Alien embryos, spreading their plague further into the galaxy.

Philip and Joy’s investigation was meant to be an undercover affair, but they are quickly unmasked by the deranged Nordling. Trapped on a floating base with a mad doctor and hundreds of his Alien “pets,” they find their only friend is an Alien “synthetic” (robot) named Jeri.

This four–issue mini–series is a harrowing tale of madness and horror set in far reaches of space.
