Open Sore Funnies

Small-press (micro-press?) publisher Ken Maxwell returns to follow up his Satan’s Planet (A Day In Life On…) with Open Sore Funnies. Like his first outing, Open Sore Funnies is the grotesque adventures of a down-and out loser. In the first issue, he’s so desperate to be rich that he kills a man so he can take his money and gamble it on the lottery. Of course, he strikes out and next tries selling all seven pints of his blood to a plasma bank in exchange for ten bucks to play the lottery. Miraculously, he hits the jackpot, but in a final irony he cuts his finger on the ticket, loses his last drop of plasma and dies.
