Monolith (Comico)
(COMICO, 1991-1992)
™ and ©1991 COMICO, the Comic Company
When fourteen-year-old Tommy Czuchra died, he was reborn as the stone giant, Monolith. With the other members of the super-hero group known as the Elementals, he helped thwart the evil plans of Lord Saker. Saker’s sorcerous deeds had already disrupted the multiverse, however, and the Elementals found their job was only just beginning.
Having already died once, Tommy is now immortal. Only extreme violence, such as decapitation, can kill off any of the Elementals. Although his body is forever that of a fourteen-year-old boy, Tommy’s mind was changing. He has been gradually maturing, both mentally and emotionally. After a moment of self-doubt causes the death of a troubled teenager, Tommy decided that he needs to find himself. His journey of self-discovery not only alters Tommy’s own fundamental beliefs, but will eventually affect every other super-powered being as well.
