Richard Dragon, Kung-Fu Fighter

As a young man, Richard Dragon came to a temple in Kyoto to rob it of a precious statue. The temple’s teacher (sensei) confronted him and prevented the theft, soundly thrashing the young man using his skills in the martial arts. However the sensei sensed a spark of goodness in Richard and invited him to become his student.

In time, Richard and another student named Benjamin became masters of the martial arts. When the day came for them to leave the temple, they were recruited by the organization known as G.O.O.D. (“It’s not important what the letters stand for.”) That organization sent these two kung-fu fighters on a variety of missions across the globe: battling slavers, criminals, and other such villains.

Richard Dragon, Kung-Fu Fighter was originally adapted from Jim Dennis’ novel, “Dragon’s Fists.”
