Forever Maelstrom

With a name like Forever Maelstrom, it is no surprise the protagonist of this mini-series is a buffoon of a university professor who travels through time dressed like the Crocodile Hunter. His adventures mostly consist of chitchats with famous historical figures, also written by Chaykin & Tischman as lifeless buffoons. Maelstrom’s friend and indentured servant is a talking timber wolf who is almost as annoying as he is, and his deadliest enemy is an Elvis-obsessed, armored super-villain who yearns to rule over all existence. Unfortunately, the reader yearns for him to succeed.
Forever Maelstrom is a boring, campy, time-travel romp that leaves no cliché or groan-inducing pun unturned.
