Sandman creator and scribe Neil Gaiman and occasional collaborator Michael Zulli (Sandman, Witchcraft: La Terreur) bring classic shock-rocker Alice Cooper to haunting life as the host of the Theatre of the Real in this limited series based on a Cooper album of the same name. The cautionary tale concerns a brash young boy named Steven and the loss of his innocence as the harsh realities of life are revealed to him on the theatre’s stage. The Last Temptation is an interesting, gorgeously illustrated morality play and one of the few offerings from the “Marvel Music” line of comics.
