Brazil’s Mike Deodato’s world renowned for his artistic talent. Caliber Comics was able to reprint several of his tales for American audiences with Jonas! #1 the seventh and last of his black-and-white reprint series. Definitely for mature readers due to some situations and language.

Jonas Creole is a black South American cowboy living and working for the family. An old enemy returns and vows revenge for Jonas having sent him to prison ten years earlier by seducing, raping, and killing Jonas’ sister. A typical tale of the old west with a South American flair and Deodato’s acclaimed style.
