Iron Man: The Iron Age

    (Marvel, 1998)
™ and ©1998 Marvel Characters, Inc.

Tony Stark and Iron Man: two separate personalities, but only one man. He has been many things through the years, aspects of his life contradicting others: wealthy businessman, armored super-hero, electronics and weapons genius, founding member of the mighty Avengers, self-involved womanizer, humanitarian philanthropist, alcoholic.

This series takes a hard look at the years and events that forced a young and arrogant playboy into one of the world’s most successful businessmen, as well as one of America’s most powerful and respected super-heroes.

The story is told from the point of view of Tony’s oldest friends, Pepper Potts and Happy Hogan. They’ve been by Tony’s side almost from the beginning, sometimes hating him, sometimes loving him, but always there when he needed them.
