Doctor Strange/Ghost Rider Special
(Marvel, 1991)
™ and ©1991 Marvel Characters, Inc.
The Master of the Mystic Arts’ quest to free a friend from demonic possession leads to a team-up with the all-new Spirit of Vengeance, but they both end up sidetracked by the serial-killer called Zodiac and the other-dimensional demons behind his actions.
This is the second part of a story that began in Ghost Rider (Vol. 2) #12, and is the exact same story that was published simultaneously in Doctor Strange, Sorcerer Supreme #28. By putting the names of both heroes on the cover, and labeling it a first-issue special edition, Marvel apparently had hopes of generating extra sales and interest.
At the same time that Strange puzzles over the identity of the new Ghost Rider, he learns of the connection between Zodiac’s masters and the invading creatures from the Inferno storyline.
