Horror writer Steve Niles (30 Days of Night) and atmospheric artist Kelley Jones (Batman) joins forces to take supernatural detective Cal McDonald and his zombified partner Mo’Lock on a wild ride to the suburbs, where they try to rid a demon-possessed teenage redneck of his body’s unwanted occupant and to close the portal to Hell that has opened in the boy’s bedroom. But to McDonald and Mo’Lock, this seems a bit too cut-and-dried, too simple; turns out, they may be facing an evil spirit the likes of which the world has never seen. Oh, and did we mention that McDonald forgot to buy his gal a Valentine’s Day gift? Ugly, ugly stuff, boys and girls—and we’re only scratching the surface here.
