Why I Hate Saturn is a critically-acclaimed (and very funny) book by Kyle Baker. Over 200 pages in length, it’s the story of Anne, an engagingly neurotic writer for one of New York’s hyper-trendy magazines. She had made a career out of being amusingly miserable—something she knew quite a lot about. She’d even gone so far as to get herself signed to a book contract, based entirely on the success of her column. It certainly wasn’t based on the title “Man, is that grapefruit” or any sort of outline or sample chapters. Truth be told, she hadn’t actually gotten around to writing any—and the book was due. To Anne, it seemed like a good time to get really drunk.

That’s when her sister Laura showed up at her apartment. Laura fancied herself the queen of the Leather Astro Girls of Saturn, and for all her craziness, was a great deal happier than Anne. But that was just one of the many reasons Anne had for hating Saturn…
