Mudhawk is a borderline psychotic who believes in animal rights so fervently that he’s been known to dangle shark hunters from fishing lines until they become shark food themselves. Jeff was a loser who decided to throw himself to the zoo lions when his girlfriend moved out. And Rosie…Rosie had just gained psychic powers which resulted in geographically dislocating Scotland from the rest of England.
The lives of these three collide when the CIA tries to kidnap Rosie for use in one of their secret projects. Perhaps not surprisingly, Rosie retaliated by psychically separating the agents’ heads from their shoulders. In the course of the eight issues of this mini-series (scripted by Garth Ennis [Hellblazer] and drawn by Phil Winslade), Rosie and her friends must escape from the law, resolve old flames, and figure out why the universe has chosen the otherwise normal Rose Nolan to become a goddess.
