CreeD/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles

    (Lightning, 1996)
™ and ©1996 Joseph A. Zyskowski and Steven V. Zyskowski

The Turtles join forces with Mark Farley, the CreeD, when transported into Dreamworld by a mysterious dream stone. For a reason known only to it, C. J., CreeD’s shape-changing frog sidekick, evaluates CreeD’s skills against an alien adversary named Shrapnel. Obviously, C. J. has much bigger ideas in mind than tangling with lowlife scum. Nonetheless, morphing frogs and talking daisies do not stimulate a mind or advance a story. This one-shot issue raises more doubts than resolving problems. Creator-writer Trent Kaniuga neglects to provide a tangible story and fails to adequately define the real purpose of the book. This book is a poor excuse for getting the Turtles together with CreeD and his frog.
