Metallix

Originally, it was just going to be a protective suit, to keep the wearer safe from any environmental concerns. But once you’re clever enough to invent a “smart metal,” there will always be those who have other ideas and intended uses for it, including turning it into a weapon of destruction. One man does just that, and his bonding with the suit creates a dangerous killer who sees only opportunity in his great power. Another suit, in the right hands – a group of problem-solving scientists – could be used for good, but there are warriors among them too. Ultimately, “Metal X” is just too powerful a tool for anyone to think it won’t be used to the full extent of its power. Even if those limits are unknown….

Written by David Michelinie and drawn by Ron Lim, the series claims to offer “the first tag-team super-hero” (have they forgotten Captain Universe?), since anyone can wear the “smart metal” suit.
