Magneto: Dark Seduction

™ and ©2000 Marvel Characters, Inc.

The United Nations and the general population of the world are pleasantly surprised: sometimes super-villain and mutant master of magnetism Magneto has been given control of the former island paradise of Genosha, and things seem to be turning around. Most of the violence has been contained, and this nation that once oppressed an entire race of mutates—genetically altered humans with latent mutant DNA—is being restored to order. Watching Magneto in an official capacity as a member of the Genoshan cabinet is his son, Pietro Maximoff, aka occasional member of the Avengers, Quicksilver. At first, he expected to have to take down his father, but now the young super-speedster sees himself as a voice for the disenfranchised, for those who are segregated because of their differences. Additionally, Magneto must contend with a U.N. liaison officer in the form of his daughter, the Scarlet Witch, and an uprising by his former acolytes. Can Magneto hold Genosha together? Find out in this excellent limited series from Marvel Comics.
