This resurrection of the 70s fantasy vixen—the mad scientist known only as Octavia—is purely a tribute by fantasy artist Mike Hoffman to his love for the character. Clad in a one–piece red leather outfit with dangling skull earrings, Octavia is little more than a Vampirella clone, but Hoffman’s Frazetta–like renderings are filled with emotion and classic fantasy allure. The adventures of the mystical maven are filled with monstrous bat–skulls, gorilla–like brutes and a deadly zombie surgeon. What more could a fantasy fan ask for?
