Cable: Blood and Metal

    (Marvel, 1992)
™ and ©1992 Marvel Entertainment Group

Since he burst on the scene in The New Mutants #87, Cable has been one of the most intriguing and mysterious figures in the Marvel universe. He’s a cyborg warrior from the future, a strange relation to Scott (Cyclops) and Jean (Marvel Girl) from the X-Men, founder of X-Force, and the former leader of the mercenary band known as the Wild Pack. As much as we know, the questions have always been more numerous than the answers.

In this two-issue limited series, we finally get some answers and a lot more questions. We step back into the early 1980s to accompany Cable and The Wild Pack on an ill-fated mission, then forward into the future to learn the final fate of Kane. And in between, it’s nonstop, pulse-pounding action…a saga of blood and metal.
