The L.A.W.—Living Assault Weapons—is offered from DC Comics by Bob Layton and Dick Giordano, two longtime creators who bring together a collection of secondary characters for this six-issue limited series of mysticism and intrigue.

The Justice League of America is kidnapped from their base on the moon by a reincarnated Hindu god, who then wrecks havoc on Earth’s military installations, including the supersecret ones. At the same time, Captain Atom is forced from this world to another, The Question tries to find the source of the mystery disappearances, and a warrior priest is called from his Himalayan mountain retreat by a powerful force that tells him to rejoin the world in order to save it.

Blue Beetle, Judomaster, the Peacemaker, and Nightshade also join in the action.
