Have Gun, Will Travel

A comic book based on the long-running and successful TV Western, starring Richard Boone as Paladin, a loner who fulfilled a number of different professions such as a detective, bodyguard, or whatever. He also had a Chinese manservant referred to as “Hey Boy”, which wouldn’t be very politically correct today. In an interesting twist, Have Gun, Will Travel, debuted on TV, and later on radio. Boone played an integral part in the direction, script and casting of this show and also the approval of merchandise of which this comic book was one.
