Tangent Comics/The Trials of the Flash

Nothing in the Tangent Universe is the same as in the DC Universe except the names. In this world, the Flash is a teenage girl who can change into any kind of light, including hard holograms, much like the DC Universe's Ray. Her abilities make her of special interest to the shadow government agency Nightwing, and they want her to work for them. After all, her father does, but she's not supposed to know that. That's supposed to make it easier for her father to lay traps for her, but they work about as well as Wile E. Coyote's traps work on the Road Runner. Which is why Nightwing's director has decided to capture her himself, with the help of his agents Plastic Man and the Spectre, who also happen to be members of the Secret Six, along with the Flash. But he's not supposed to know that.

This is the third installment in of DC's second run of comics set in the Tangent Universe in 1998, with the apparent order being Wonder Woman, Tales of the Green Lantern, The Trials of the Flash, The Superman, Power Girl, Night Wing: Night Force, The Joker's Wild, JLA, and The Batman.
