    (Topps, 1994)
Satan’s Six™ and ©1994 Jack Kirby. Hellspawn™ Todd McFarlane Productions

Samalathlronllechmanos (Sam for short) is just like any other demon—fond of good times, good friends, and the occasional bit of blood-soaked mayhem. But when he’s given the assignment to train the other five members of Satan’s Six to be as evil as he is, he finds they’re either too stupid or too inept for anything other than advertising work. Frustrated, he goes to the one place on Earth peaceful and soothing enough to ease his shattered nerves—the Big Apple!

In this three-issue mini-series from Topps, based on characters created by Jack Kirby and Todd McFarlane, Sam dispatches feminists, faith healers, a couple of kids who don’t like “videos that suck,” and a crack dealer—all in his quest for a chuckle or two. Joined by the angelic party-pooper Pristine, he finally finds a haven: the Bar Sinister, the unhappiest place on earth. Then the party really begins…
