Wolverine Unleashed is Marvel’s British clearinghouse for miscellaneous Wolverine stories that apparently don’t get released in other UK editions. Here, the Wolverine chapters of the interminable Age of Apocalypse mini-series got their UK airing, along with backstory chapters from the Wolverine ongoing series and various other mini-series appearances of the ill-tempered mutant. As one of Marvel’s showcase characters, Wolverine gets the deluxe treatment in this title, with heavy-stock covers, lots of pages, and a choice assortment of reprints featuring the work of fan-favorite artists like Mark Silvestri, Howard Chaykin, and Adam Kubert.
