The New Adventures of Huck Finn

    (Gold Key, 1968)
™ and © 1968, Hanna-Barbera Productions

The story of Huck Finn, by author Mark Twain, is too good to end with just one novel. A young boy and his friends with a penchant for getting into trouble? There’s ample material there for a TV series and comic book adaptation, too. Especially since Huck and friends Tom Sawyer and Becky Thatcher run into problems even when trying to avoid them. Late for dinner? The trio cuts through a spooky cemetery to get home earlier and soon find themselves running from a cursed mummy and the apparent ghost of nemesis Injun Joe.

A Gold Key comic in full color, this was one of various adaptations of television series from Hanna-Barbera.
