Ghost Ship
(Renegade Arts, 1996)
™ and ©1996 Jon Lewis
The cast of this black-and-white title from Slave Labor Graphics is as follows: Dequayne, the First Mate, an overweight chap with a truly prodigious proboscis; John Conk’roo, the bespectacled, barely tolerated, writer of poetry; the extraordinarily mustachioed Doctor Rablablah, resident brainy fellow; Graham Mutineer, the British helmsman who wears only a sweater and a wool cap; Mister Morceaux, the giant silver pear that doubles as the good ship Cassowary’s anchor; and, finally, the one-eyed, peg-legged Captain Mordecai Cousse. A motley crew, to be sure, and certainly a cynical lot that springs from the mind of True Swamp creator Jon Lewis.
