Tilazeus Meets the Messiah

Proof that everybody can have a tough day at work, including demons, is this title. Tilazeus is a Third Circle demon who has to perform mundane duties, such as bringing souls to hell for punishment.

It’s an easy assignment, unless his prey escapes, as they do in the first issue of this series. Tilazeus ends up chasing a Japanese mage out of place and time through ancient Jerusalem. As Tilazeus slays the unfortunate Roman centurions who want to capture him, he also interacts with Jesus Christ, the Apostles and the Wandering Jew, all without disturbing historical context, as most comics would.
