Industrial Gothic

™ and ©1996 Ted McKeever

Industrial Gothic is Ted McKeever’s (Doom Patrol (2nd Series), Metropol A.D.) allegorical tale of two misfits in a society that eschews handicaps and defects. Together with the stylistic lettering of John Workman, McKeever shows us his personal vision of the self-centered attitude prevalent in today’s world of beautiful people. The protagonists, Pencil and Nickel, two escapees from prison, search for the fabled Aluminum Tower, a quest that they expect to bring them fulfillment in this horrible post-apocalyptic world.
