After years of tyranny, the country of Lutzania was once again free. Its old ruler, Archon, had fled to America with his pregnant wife. Back in Lutzania, the old statues of Archon were being torn down, and a new symbol of Lutzania stood in their place. And, despite calls for a new ruler, the interim government was wisely insisting on putting a true democracy in place. Finally, it seemed, the battle for freedom was won.

But the Mark, hero of the revolution, was not convinced. The same research that had given him his powers had also created Archon. That legacy now lived on in the child that Archon’s wife carried. The Mark believed that the only way to truly erase the stain of Archon was to go to America and kill him. Accordingly, he stowed away on a ship, eventually ending up on the mean streets of New York City. There, this new immigrant to our shores would fight his final battle against his country’s exiled ruler.
