This Free Comic Book Day giveaway spotlights two of Del Rey’s ongoing manga series. Negima! is story of Negi Springfield, a ten–year–old boy who graduates from a school for wizards in England and moves to Japan to teach English at an all–girls school called Mahora Academy. Even though he has been ordered to keep his mystical powers under wraps, Negi is compelled to use his abilities to help people. In the excerpt here, Negi gets under the skin of one of his more reserved students. xxxHOLIC focuses on Kimihiro Watanuki and his horrifying visions—which lead him to a magic shop owned by Yuko, a witch with a bit of mischief up her sleeve. The excerpt finds the shop hosting a ghost story contest.
