Cole Black (Vol. 2)

    (Rocky Hartberg, 1985-1987)
™ and ©1985 Rocky Hartberg

Cole Black is a tough, gritty, trenchcoat-wearing private eye in the tradition of classic pulp-fiction detectives. Set against the backdrop of 1940’s New York, and the looming peril of WWII, Black bravely squares off against every threat that comes his way, from neighborhood mobsters to killer robots and pistol-waving drunken movie idols. Naturally, his one weakness is a good-looking dame, so there’s always at least one trying to catch his eye, and of course when they do, it always means trouble…

Volume two picks up where the first volume left off, making this “first” issue, as far as continuity is concerned, the sixth in the series.
