™ and ©1981 DC Comics, Inc.

The Legion of Super-Heroes is a group of super-powered youngsters who have banded together to preserve peace in the galaxy. This three-issue mini-series gave the inside story of the Legion and many of its chief characters. It began by retelling the story of how Cosmic Boy, Saturn Girl, and Lightning Lad joined together to stop some assassins from murdering a high-ranking government official, ultimately leading to the formation of the Legion. This tale was followed in later issues by the origins of Braniac 5, Ultra Boy, Mon-El, and other prominent Legionnaires.

Secrets of the Legion of Super-Heroes is one of the earliest works by writer Paul Kupperberg, who went on to become an editor at DC. He has since overseen such popular series as Judge Dredd (DC) and Wonder Woman (2nd Series).
