Rob Connors loves baseball, his girlfriend (newscaster Victoria Johnson), and fighting crime as the Comet. A freak accident gave him the power to streak through the air like a comet, throw heat blasts with his hands and create a protective heat shield around his body. Naturally, everyone is curious as to his real identity. At times his intentions are misunderstood, so much so that he has had to fight fellow heroes, such as the Black Hood.

This update of a 1960s super-hero from the Mighty Crusaders features strong, compelling characters for both heroes and villains.
