Supremie
(Parody, 1993)
™ and © 1993 Chin, Sever & Faucher
This lighthearted spoof of Superman and Image Comics’ Supreme is the story of Tow-el (pronounced towel), an orphan from the planet Creepton. Stranded on Earth, Supremie has many of the same super powers that another orphaned alien possesses - the power of flight, super-strength and more. The one major difference between the two is that as Supremie grew older, he did not grow physically bigger. He has stayed in the form of a toddler, fighting crime and searching throughout space for his parents’ killers. Mixing parodies of classic comic stories with more current comics like Youngblood and other so-called “extreme” comics, Supremie is sure to invoke more than a few laughs.
