Li’l Jinx

After an inauspicious debut in Pep Comics #62 in 1947, Joe Edwards Li’l Jinx appeared regularly in the back pages of various Archie Comics before graduating to her own series here in 1956 and again in 1971 (see Li’l Jinx Giant Laugh-Out). Jinx herself is a little blonde-haired scamp who unintentially gets in trouble with her father and is the constant bane to her friend Charlie Hawse’s existence. If you squint your eyes, you will notice more than a passing resemblance to Marge’s Little Lulu in concept.
