With this book, writer Mike Baron and artist Mike Norton appear to have tapped into two hot and seemingly unrelated entertainment trends: zombies and religion. The Night Club follows two runaways, Jack and Annie, who are attacked by zombie-like creatures and then recruited into a group on a mission against Satan. Others in the group include a former wrestler named Otto, a gadget-laden fellow named Jerry, and the eccentric old Reverend Walter who throws around words like Armageddon and apocalypse in describing the events around him.
