Life on the street is mean and simple: you do what you have to do to survive. Looking at it from a brighter side, it is a big colorful world—one that provides grand adventure and offers endless possibilities.

This is the story of one street kid’s adventure—the story of a tough paperboy named Little Bruce. One morning after sleeping in a junk wagon, the young entrepreneur finds himself out of the big city and stranded in the middle of a different planet—a junkyard. This is the bottom link in the chain of the New York City rackets and here Little Bruce must quickly adapt or quickly be not. Ruling the territory is a youth gang called “The Rats” and through wit and courage, Little Bruce manages to join this elite force.

Now begins an adventure that will lead to big opportunity or big trouble. And that’s the basic risk anyone must take when you aim for the better.
