Shuriken (Eternity)

Following the events of Shuriken: Cold Steel, this six issue mini-series continues looking at the life of Kyoko Shidara, former assassin and free-lance bodyguard with expensive tastes but a limited budget. Named Shuriken after her favorite weapon, Kyoko gave up working for Mr. Morgan, head of the largest U.S. assassin agency, Morgan Enterprises in order to work on her own and spend more time with her best friend, Joan, who also happens to be involved with police officer Doug Jordan.

But even Doug begins to wonder when he sees Shuriken kill in cold blood, not realizing Morgan Enterprises has created a new and terrible biological weapon known as Slate: a being able to absorb anyone’s DNA and take on their form.
