Despite his skills, the mysterious living weapon and “intergalactic ninja” known as Zen has never laughed at danger; partly due to his stoic philosophy, and partly because he has no nose or mouth. And so it’s a bit of a shock to him at the start of Zen: Bounty Hunter when he up the owner of both a new mouth and nose. After consulting his robot servant 64–H (a.k.a. Tinhead) and Master Satva of the Twelfth Level of Meditation about his recent development, Zen resumes his pursuit of his latest target—a mass murderer who is wanted alive for the information in his head. His quarry eventually shows on a desolate planet where fearsome wildlife, a damsel in distress, and a mysterious watcher await.
